Stephen Freeman is a partner in the firm's Orange County office and works with businesses, business owners and executives in general and sophisticated tax planning involving mergers and acquisitions, financings, entity formation, executive compensation, and transaction structuring. His practice also includes representing investment funds and their portfolio companies in all aspects of their activities from formation to their investments. In addition, Mr. Freeman represents institutional investors on their alternative investments and represents principals in venture funds in negotiations with the funds. Mr. Freeman works closely with family offices with respect to their organization and investment activity.
