Jim Sobieraj has more than 35 years of experience in intellectual property and commercial litigation. He has successfully defended a large multi-level marketing company in several litigation against illegal pyramid claims, as well as against claims for federal antitrust violations, breach of contract, patent infringement, false advertising and various commercial torts. He also has successfully prosecuted claims, including a $25.8 million arbitration award against former distributors for breach of contract and trade secret misappropriation.
Jim Sobieraj also has been lead counsel in many litigations involving claims of patent infringement, ownership of patent rights, trade dress infringement, copyright infringement, unfair competition, defamation and fraud. He received his J.D. and B.S.E. from the University of Michigan.
