Emma is an associate in Ogletree Deakins’ London office. She provides commercial and pragmatic advice and assists employers with contentious and non-contentious matters.
Emma was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand prior to moving to the United Kingdom. Emma’s background is in employment law and commercial litigation, having practiced in a specialist Employment and Commercial Disputes team where she advised clients on restructuring and redundancy processes, workplace investigations and disciplinary processes and provided advice on various employment and health and safety legislation.
Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Emma worked at a large UK Law Firm in its Private Employment Team and advised claimants on workplace disputes and employment claims (most commonly, claims under the Equality Act 2010).
