Attached please find the updated Foreign Listed Stock Index Futures and Options Approvals Chart, current as of April 16, 2014. All prior versions are superseded and should be discarded. Please note the following developments since we last distributed the Approvals Chart:
(1) The CFTC has approved the following contracts for trading by U.S. persons: (i) Eurex’s futures contract based on the MSCI China Free Index; (ii) Eurex’s futures contract based on the MSCI Emerging Markets Asia Index; (iii) Eurex’s futures contract based on the MSCI Emerging Markets EMEA Index; (iv) Eurex’s futures contract based on the MSCI Emerging Markets Index; (v) Eurex’s futures contract based on the MSCI Emerging Markets India Index; (vi) Eurex’s futures contract based on the MSCI Emerging Markets Latin America Index; (vii) Eurex’s futures contract based on the MSCI Europe Growth Index; (viii) Eurex’s futures contract based on the MSCI Europe Value Index; (ix) Eurex’s futures contract based on the MSCI Malaysia Index; (x) Eurex’s futures contract based on the MSCI South Africa Index; (xi) Eurex’s futures contract based on the MSCI Thailand Index; (xii) SGX- DT’s futures contract based on the MSCI India Index; (xiii) SGX-DT’s futures contract based on the MSCI Philippines Index; (xiv) SGX-DT’s futures contract based on the MSCI Thailand Index; (xv) Euronext LIFFE’s British pound sterling-denominated futures contract (£2 per index point) based on the FTSE 250 Index; and (xvi) Euronext LIFFE’s Euro-denominated futures contract based on the MSCI Europe Index.
(2) The SEC has not approved any new foreign equity index options since we last distributed the Approvals Chart.
(3) In addition, the Chart has been modified to note the availability of the Bclear service offered by LIFFE, which allows LIFFE members that comply with specified criteria to clear certain non-U.S. equity and index options that were executed over the counter on behalf of Eligible U.S. Institutions. Please refer to Footnote 4 for additional information.
