Tesia N. Stanley is an associate in the Public Finance and Litigation Departments. Tesia is a former staff member of the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board. Before that, she was a research specialist for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Tesia works on a broad spectrum of tax-exempt financings for state and local governments across the country. She serves as bond and underwriter's counsel on taxable and tax-exempt financings for state agencies and municipal governments, higher education institutions, and student loan issuers. Tesia also has experience in affordable housing, including single-family mortgage finance transactions. She regularly advises clients on federal securities law materiality standards, regulatory compliance, and enforcement actions.
