Taylor E. Gillan

Professional Biography

Taylor Gillan counsels employers in all areas of federal and state employment law, including compliance with Title VII, the ADEA, the ADA, the FMLA, the FLSA, and various state laws and common law theories. She also defends employers in federal and state court, as well as before administrative agencies tasked with enforcing employment laws. Taylor has experience with claims brought under the FCRA and the Pennsylvania Whistleblower Law.

She brings her past experience as an employee-side employment attorney to provide employers with unique perspective and results-oriented representation.

Taylor earned her law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. While studying there, she was awarded the Herman L. Foreman Award for her performance in her private labor law course. She also served as a staff editor of the school’s Journal of Technology Law and Policy, and on the board of the Pitt Legal Income Sharing Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to providing scholarships to students who accept unpaid public interest internships. Prior to law school, Taylor received her undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware.
