Eric K. Schuller serves as President of the Alliance for Responsible Consumer Legal Funding (ARC), the leading national trade association representing companies that provide consumer legal funding. In this role, he oversees all government affairs initiatives affecting the industry nationwide and has provided testimony on regulatory matters across the country.
Mr. Schuller is a former member of the Board of Directors for the State Government Affairs Council (SGAC) and currently chairs its Public Outreach Committee. He also serves on the Advisory Board of the Dispute Financing Library at the Center on Civil Justice at New York University School of Law and has been actively engaged with the Council of State Governments (CSG), the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL), the Attorney General Alliance (AGA), and the National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG).
His commitment to public service extends beyond his work in consumer legal funding. He previously served on the Board of After the Impact Fund, an organization supporting former NFL players and military veterans affected by traumatic brain injuries. Before leading ARC, Mr. Schuller was President and Executive Director of Operation Homefront Illinois, which provides support to military service members and their families. He also served on the staff of the Lieutenant Governor of Illinois.
Mr. Schuller is a retired veteran of the United States Army and National Guard, completing 23 years of service with a background in military intelligence, counterintelligence, and military police operations. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
