Stuart Robbins is an Energy associate focusing on the liquefied natural gas (LNG) industry. Stuart advises clients on matters related to the Natural Gas Act (NGA) and the Federal Power Act (FPA), among other statutes. He helps ensure that clients comply with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and Department of Energy (DOE) requirements. Stuart additionally works across the Energy, Infrastructure, and Resources (EIR) group, monitoring developments in and providing insights regarding the LNG, hydrogen, carbon capture, and renewable technologies industries.
Prior to joining the firm, Stuart served as an Acquisition Policy Division intern in The General Services Administration’s Office of Government-wide Policy as well as a legal intern at the Capital Area Immigrants’ Rights Coalition. During law school, he was a Notes Editor at the Public Contract Law Journal, the Secretary of Lambda Law, and a member of the Environmental and Energy Law Association.
