Stephen Worthley is a senior associate in the firm's Melbourne office. He has extensive experience in a wide range of technologies, including filing and prosecution of patent and trade mark applications in Australia and internationally, as well as contentious matters before IP Australia and in the Federal Court
Stephen has worked across a number of technical industries including telecommunications, signal processing, mining and heavy machinery, e-commerce and business methods, building hardware, medical devices and bioinformatics.
Prior to joining the firm, Stephen was an engineer before becoming a patent attorney and a lawyer, where he practiced at a number of leading Australian law firms. With over 15 years' experience in IP law as a lawyer and patent and trademarks attorney, Stephen's background allows him to assist clients in ICT, life sciences and mechanical fields.
