Mr. Honeywell is of counsel in the restructuring and insolvency department of K&L Gates’ New York City office. He has over 19 years of experience in Chapter 11 reorganizations, out-of-court workouts and commercial transactions, with a focus on securitizations and derivatives, lien perfection, avoidance actions (including analysis of fraudulent transfers and conduit defenses) and cross-border insolvencies. He has represented financially distressed companies as well as creditors’ committees, lenders, asset purchasers and creditors. Notable representations include participation in the Chapter 11 reorganizations of Global Crossing, Adelphia, Westland, Calpine, UniCapital, Stop N Go Markets and Avianca Airlines.
