Robert Weiss is counsel in the firm’s New York office. He is a member of the asset management and investment funds practice area.
Professional Background
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Weiss served as a senior investment funds associate at a large international law firm, where he focused his practice on the formation, marketing, and closing of private funds, funds-of-one, and separately managed accounts. Mr. Weiss also advises sovereign wealth funds and other investors in LP investments in private equity and debt funds, as well as advising venture capital funds and corporate venture capital funds in venture investments. In addition, Mr. Weiss has advised new and existing managers on documentation of “house” arrangements.
