Rebecca D. Rosenthal Kristall focuses her practice on the representation of institutional investors, insurance companies and pension funds in U.S. and cross-border private placements of debt securities and credit tenant loan real estate transactions. Rebecca focuses on secured and unsecured transactions, project finance, domestic real estate and construction financings. She also has experience with national insurance regulatory matters and has represented clients in the formation, licensure and capitalization of insurers and business expansion activities.
Rebecca also has significant experience in business reorganization and financial restructuring matters, representing both creditors and debtors in and out of court. She has experience advising corporations in financial distress regarding Chapter 11 reorganizations, liquidations, assignments for the benefit of creditors, and work-outs.
Prior to law school, Rebecca worked as an auditor for Arthur Andersen and as a financial analyst for General Electric Capital Corporation’s Global Sponsored Finance division lending to private equity firms for leveraged buy-outs.
