As Director-Client Development for Interim Legal Talent, Michael McGinnis works closely with law firms and corporations to help them identify legal talent solutions that will improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their teams.
Originally from the Midwest city of Dayton, Ohio, Michael now lives in the South Bay of Los Angeles with his wife and two sons.
Prior to joining Major, Lindsey & Africa, Michael worked on multi-million and multi-billion-dollar contracts with the federal government. He most recently worked with the Los Angeles Air Force Base leading procurement negotiations. He also spent eight years negotiating major contracts and advising athletes within the MLB and NBA systems, first with Pierce and Associates Sports Management and then more recently through his own consulting firm Empowerment Sports Group.
Michael’s experience working with athletes led him to writing “GPS Guide for Athletes and Those who Surround Them,” the quintessential manual to guide not only athletes and those who support them but anyone looking to make their break in professional athletics.
