Ms. D’Aurora Richardson advises academic medical centers, health systems, hospitals, hospices, and ancillary service providers, such as pharmacies, and durable medical equipment suppliers and clinical laboratories, on all areas of transactional and regulatory health law, including:
- Responding to governmental investigations related to healthcare regulatory matters, including Anti-Kickback Statute and Stark Law compliance, and complex billing matters.
- Compliance with federal and state grant statutes, regulations, and programmatic guidance, including hemophilia treatment centers and Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program grantees.
- Operational and regulatory compliance advice related to the 340B Drug Discount Program.
- Medicare contractor and OIG audits and Medicare reimbursement-related administrative appeals.
- Various health care regulatory and transactional issues related to digital health and telehealth arrangements, including data privacy, licensure, reimbursement, corporate practice of medicine, and prescribing practices.
- Internal reviews and analysis of potential federal and state fraud and abuse matters.
