Jerald Monson is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Ogletree Deakins. He represents employers in single plaintiff cases and collective actions in a wide range of employment matters, including discrimination and harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour violations. He has extensive experience handling law and motion practice and preparing cases for mediation and trial.
Jerald graduated with honors from Carthage College with Bachelor of Arts degrees in business administration and marketing. He spent several years working in human resources and organizational development in the United States and Southeast Asia prior to returning to graduate school. Jerald attended Pepperdine University, completing a master of business administration at the Graziadio School of Business and Management in 2011 and a Juris Doctor at the School of Law in 2012. While at Pepperdine, Jerald served as Lead Articles Editor for the Journal of Business, Entrepreneurship and the Law. He was also involved in International Justice Mission, Advocates for Public Interest Law, and Pepperdine’s London Program.
