Professional Biography

BILL KATRIS has extensive litigation, arbitration and counseling experience involving a wide range of complex commercial contract disputes, trust and estate controversies, and business torts, including matters arising from breach of fiduciary duties, data usage, intellectual property disputes, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act ("TCPA"), breach of contract/contract interpretation, real estate transactions, employment issues, unfair competition, trade secret misappropriation, fraud, corporate mismanagement and business defamation issues. Bill's trust and estate litigation experience includes representing both trustees and beneficiaries in various trust and estate controversies.

Bill also represents companies across the country in all aspects of their business relationships, consumer relationships and relationships with employees. Bill has represented a broad range of clients, such as internet start-ups, mobile marketing and mid-market technology companies, construction companies, financial services companies, governmental entities, manufacturing companies, nationwide distributorships, professional service providers, insurance companies and large equity investors. Bill's clients range from small business owners to large publicly traded companies.

Bill completed Chicago-Kent College of Law's certificate programs in Environmental and Energy Law as well as International and Comparative Law. Bill also studied International Trade Relations at King's College of London, England, and completed Loyola University's International Business Studies Program in Rome, Italy.
