With over 25 years as a labor and employment attorney and trial lawyer, Barry Y. Freeman has joined Roetzel’s Employment Services Group as a Shareholder in the firm’s Cleveland office. He represents employers of all sizes in litigation and administrative matters, in addition to providing his clients with day-to-day counseling, strategic advice and compliance guidance.
Because Mr. Freeman empathizes with each of his clients, he aggressively defends them and their businesses by utilizing creative legal strategies. Since no two cases are alike, Mr. Freeman looks for ways to get clients the results they desire by discovering what is unique about the specific matter and how to use the information to his client's advantage.
The cases he handles involve all aspects of labor and employment law, including discrimination, harassment and retaliation; wage and hour; unfair competition and trade secrets, employee benefits; traditional labor law; defamation; and workers’ compensation.
