Alexander is an associate in Ogletree Deakins’ Morristown office. Alexander has experience representing clients in cases in both state and federal courts, including those involving the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination and the Conscientious Employee Protection Act. Additionally, Alexander has experience defending employers against alleged violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act. Alexander plays an integral role in the cases he is a part of by conducting discovery, drafting and arguing substantive motions, and working with clients to develop creative legal strategies that effectively resolve employment law-related disputes. Alexander is at the forefront of novel issues affecting employers by researching new legal developments and giving presentations about his findings, including those concerning the legalization of cannabis for recreational use in New Jersey and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Before joining Ogletree Deakins, Alexander worked as a litigation associate of a highly regarded regional law firm representing clients in a variety of different commercial and employment litigation matters. Alexander also served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Jose L. Fuentes, P.J.A.D.
Alexander graduated cum laude from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2018 where he served as a Notes Editor for the Seton Hall Legislative Journal. While in law school, Alexander was also an active member of the Interscholastic Moot Court Board, the Seton Hall Law Immigrants’ Rights and International Human Rights Clinic, and the Seton Hall Employment Law Forum. Alexander also participated in judicial externships for the Honorable Brian R. Martinotti, U.S.D.J. and the Honorable Madeline Cox Arleo, U.S.D.J. of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, and a legal externship for the Governor’s Counsel Office of the New Jersey Office of the Governor.
