VPOTUS’ Schedule*

4:00 p.m. EDT – THE VICE PRESIDENT will ceremonially swear in Jared Bernstein as Chair of the Council of Economic Advisors | Vice President’s Ceremonial Office

4:15 p.m. EDT – THE VICE PRESIDENT will ceremonially swear in Ambassador Geeta Rao Gupta as Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women’s Issues; THE SECOND GENTLEMAN will attend | Vice President’s Ceremonial Office

Looking Ahead: The President will be in Vilnius, Lithuania, from July 11-12 for the NATO Summit, and he is scheduled to visit Helsinki, Finland, for a U.S.-Nordic Leaders’ Summit on July 13.

Looking Ahead: On Tuesday, the Vice President will convene a press call regarding a Biden-Harris Administration announcement related to helping families access child care.  The Vice President will also convene a roundtable with disability rights leaders to discuss transportation accessibility.

On Wednesday, the Vice President will meet with civil rights leaders and consumer protection experts to discuss the societal impact of AI.  On Thursday, the Vice President will travel to New York, New York, to deliver remarks at a campaign reception.  On Friday, the Vice President will conclude the “Investing in America” tour with a stop in Maryland to highlight provisions in the Inflation Reduction Act pertaining to climate change, jobs creation, and the clean energy economy.
