Federal programs of interest to health care professionals are typically covered in the Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies (LHHS) Appropriations Subcommittee bills. The House LHHS Subcommittee deadline for member requests for programs and language to be included in the bill is April 15th. Member offices may have internal deadlines that are earlier than these dates; therefore, it is a good idea to check with Members of Congress to see when they would like appropriations requests and if there are any forms or accompanying documents that their offices require.

While the House deadline for Outside Witness Testimony has passed; testimony for the Senate LHHS Subcommittee is due May 6th.
