On October 8, 2018, China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment (CFSA) requested comments on 15 new types of food-related products, including six new resins. The resins are:

The new additive is: Octadecanamide, N,N’-1,2-ethanediylbis-, reaction products with azacyclotridecan-2-one homopolymer and 1-isocyanatooctadecane.

On September 26, 2018, China’s National Health Commission (NHC) announced the final approval for 14 food-related new products and two new food ingredients. The products included two new types of additives for food-contact materials (1-Propanaminium, N,N,N-trimethyl-3-[(1-oxo-2-propen-1-yl)amino]-, chloride (1:1), polymer with ethenamine and 2-propenamide, hydrochloride and epoxidized linseed oil) and five new resins.
