Winnie McBride* counsels health care clients on strategic and operational matters, including transactions, corporate governance and regulatory compliance. Winnie drafts and reviews contract provisions and advises on data privacy matters, including patient privacy issues arising under HIPAA/HITECH.
While in law school, Winnie served as a research assistant for George Rutherglen and was a summer associate at Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP. She also served as a legal intern at the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, Washington, D.C., where she drafted answers, discovery requests and motions; assisted with trial preparation; and supported attorneys as second chair.
