Professional Biography

Will received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Mercer University School of Law, where he served as Editor in Chief for 68th volume of the Mercer Law Review. While at Mercer, Will interned with the Georgia Department of Community Health’s General Counsel’s Office, received the Georgia Academy of Healthcare Attorneys Fellowship, which provided Will the opportunity to gain insight and experience working with the legal departments of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and the Georgia Hospital Association, served as a research assistant, and completed independent research and writing on employment classification in varying healthcare delivery models.

Will received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia where he was selected to represent his college as a Congressional Agricultural Fellow in Washington, D.C. Prior to attending law school, Will worked for a large Georgia–based, publicly-traded company as a corporate compliance professional where he closely worked with corporate and outside counsel to coordinate and grow the company’s compliance program, conduct internal investigations, and develop compliance policies and trainings.

Will represents employers and organizations across the country in labor and employment administrative charges, single-plaintiff claims, and class or collective action litigation. Will’s experience includes a full range of matters and issues employers may encounter, such as employment discrimination claims, harassment claims, wage and hour claims, FMLA and ADA claims, whistleblower claims, and disputes surrounding enforcement and defense of restrictive covenant and confidentiality agreements. Drawing on his experience, Will works diligently to understand his clients’ business and operational needs so that he can assist these organizations and their directors, managers, and supervisors navigate the day-to-day challenges and questions in the workplace both through advice and counseling and engaging and developing managers through training.
