Veronica also is passionate about her pro bono work, having assisted New Jersey citizens with expungement of their prior criminal records and secured asylum for a political refugee through her oral advocacy in federal immigration court.
During law school, Veronica worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable Judge Thomas M. Moore, Civil Presiding Judge of Essex County, and the Honorable Justice Walter F. Timpone of the New Jersey Supreme Court. She also gained experience as a legal intern at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of New Jersey, where she participated on investigations in the Opioid Abuse Prevention and Enforcement Unit.
