Thomas Busching holds dual qualifications as lawyer and chartered tax consultant. His practice includes commercial and corporate law, mainly for the automotive industry and tax-driven legal matters, as well as tax and transactional work for industrial clients. He advises manufacturing and trading companies on industry-relevant legal and tax matters, and inbound and outbound foreign direct investments, as well as tax disputes and international and domestic tax structuring. Thomas has worked in Asia for a number of years.
Thomas is co-author of the German Handbook of International Corporate Law and regular author of articles in various domestic and international publications. He has also spoken on legal and tax matters for most of his professional career and is regularly quoted in international publications such as Bloomberg BNA and Tax Notes.
Thomas is a member of the Frankfurt sections of the German Bar Association, German Tax Consultants Association and the Trade Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce, as well as the German-Chinese Business Association. He is member of the German Institution of Arbitration (DIS) and one of the few dual-qualified arbitrators.
