Sydney Imes is an Associate at Barnes & Thornburg's Grand Rapids office. She is a dedicated advocate, drafting briefs, motions, and memoranda and performing research on a range of legal issues related to disputes.

She works as part of litigation teams involved in sophisticated trials and single- and multi-plaintiff claims. 

Prior to joining the firm, Sydney worked as an extern for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. While there, she assisted with multiple preliminary injunctions, aided in trial preparation, and researched issues involving election law, environmental law, and Social Security matters.

Sydney also externed for the St. Joseph County Superior Court, where she participated in pretrial hearings and researched matters regarding family law and torts.

In her free time, Sydney is an avid reader and enjoys spending time outdoors on Lake Michigan.
