Sophie Taylor is an associate in Squire Patton Boggs' Real Estate Practice Group based in our Birmingham office. Her particular expertise covers town planning and highways law.
Sophie acts for a number of housebuilder, housing association and retail clients.
Sophie is a member of the Birmingham Fundraising Committee, raising funds for the office's chosen charity each year.
Selected Experience:
- Negotiating and drafting a section 106 agreement for a £20 million modernisation of a large entertainment venue in Birmingham City Centre.
- Providing due diligence and planning assistance for a number of solar farm site acquisitions.
- Providing long-term advice for a developer group (made up of three large housing developers) in respect of a 3,300 dwelling site in Telford, Shropshire.
- Acting for a housing association on the acquisition of Section 106 housing from private developers for social rented accommodation.
