Charles “Skip” Stitt helps public sector clients drive innovation, reduce costs and improve service delivery. Skip has worked on projects in a variety of areas, including government operations, public utilities and education. Skip helps clients to identify, prioritize and implement projects that resolve financial and operational challenges. He finds solutions to operational challenges in many forms, including business process reengineering, public-private partnerships (P3) and labor-management reforms.
Corporate and Public Sector Leadership
Before joining Faegre Drinker Consulting, Skip spent over 20 years in senior-level positions in government, strategic consulting and a Fortune 500 firm. As a senior corporate and public sector executive, he managed and led large, complex organizations. In nine years at Affiliated Computer Services (now Conduent), Skip served in multiple roles, including chief administrative officer and public sector COO. He managed business units that served every state and hundreds of local governments in areas including human services, health care, finance, information technology, higher education, public safety, justice and transportation.

Skip founded and spent four years leading a strategic consulting firm working with cities, counties, states and higher education institutions on public sector reform initiatives, including operations management, driving innovation, managing costs and growing new business opportunities.
City of Indianapolis Leadership
After five years as a FaegreBD associate focusing on commercial litigation, land use planning and administrative law, Skip spent five years with the City of Indianapolis, including serving as senior deputy mayor and chief operating officer under Mayor Steve Goldsmith. He managed the day-to-day operations of a 4,000-person workforce and an operating budget of more than $450 million.
