Simas Gerdvila is a senior manager and a member of the Public Policy and Law practice group. Prior to joining the firm, Simas, a non-lawyer, served as a government relations and public affairs manager for a global technology manufacturer focused on electrification, energy efficiency, and industrial automation. In this role, he managed EU policy and regulatory work in the areas of energy, climate, and sustainability, with a particular focus on carbon pricing, sustainable finance, hydrogen, process industries, and chemicals. He represented the company in meetings with EU and national policymakers and drafted position papers, policy memos, legal amendments, and submissions to EU public consultations.
