Sari El-Abboud is an associate in the firm’s Boston office, where he is a member of the investment management, hedge funds and alternative investments practice group. Sari focuses his practice on advising investment advisers, open and closed-end investment companies, and unregistered funds on legal, regulatory and compliance matters. Sari has experience drafting and reviewing documentation for the formation, organization and ongoing operations of registered and unregistered funds.
Sari also advises financial institutions on anti-money laundering and OFAC matters, including the development of tailored anti-money laundering and sanctions compliance solutions (including policies, procedures, and other items) for investment advisers, broker-dealers, and other financial institution clients.
