Robert (Bob) Lendino is a member of the firm’s Financial Services Practice Group. He uses his extensive experience as senior in-house legal counsel to deliver practical, business-oriented solutions to his clients. His legal practice is focused on derivatives and capital markets work.
Prior to joining the firm, Bob spent 30 years in leading financial institutions of what are now known as HSBC, Bank of America, Wells Fargo and Truist. Bob has held several in-house general counsel roles within these prominent financial institutions. He has provided key transactional and regulatory support for the treasury and institutional capital markets groups of these institutions, including derivatives, fixed income and equity. Bob also supported various projects such as Dodd-Frank compliance, initial margin requirements for derivatives and LIBOR transition. He has also worked within many disciplines, including front office treasury and capital markets, credit/risk management, compliance, operations, accounting policy and tax.
Bob began his legal career as an associate practicing law in New York City within large international law firms, prior to which he worked in compliance and as a law clerk on a futures exchange. Thus, Bob effortlessly understands both the legal and business sides of the financial institutions industry and the challenges and opportunities that clients face.
