Patricia DeAngelis is a member of the Business and Finance Department and the Commercial Real Estate Development and Construction Practice Groups.
Patty represents clients in the areas of development, financing and construction of real estate projects. She has significant experience in advising owners, lenders and contractors on both private and public construction projects and in drafting and negotiating construction contracts. Patty works collaboratively with clients to improve and streamline business processes and develop creative, proactive solutions to legal issues which arise.
Prior to joining Murtha Cullina, Patty served as General Counsel and Board Secretary of the Massachusetts Development Finance Agency. She has also served as general counsel to Shawmut Design and Construction in Boston. Patty served as Senior Counsel in Palmer and Dodge LLP’s Airport and Real Estate Departments; and was a founding member of the firm’s Airport Department. During her tenure there, she advised public and private entities, including a number of international airports, on the financing and development of public and private facilities, land use and zoning issues, environmental permitting and related issues.
