Nate is an associate in the Minneapolis office of Ogletree Deakins. He has handled a broad spectrum of disputes involving employers and employee benefit plans. His employment practice includes litigating discrimination allegations, workplace safety disputes, employment contracts, and restrictive covenants. Nate’s employee benefits practice includes litigating benefit claim denials, breach of fiduciary duty allegations, subrogation claims, and multi-party ERISA litigation involving federal and state laws. He has represented insurance companies, health and retirement plans, and fiduciaries in both state and federal courts. Nate has also advised plan fiduciaries on plan design, compliance, and administration.
Prior to joining the firm, Nate was an associate at another national law firm, where he practiced employee benefits and employment litigation. He is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School, where he was an Articles Editor for the Brooklyn Law Review and earned Dean’s List honors. Nate received his undergraduate degree in Music from the University of South Dakota.
