Mike Longmeyer brings a broad technical and legal background to the firm’s Intellectual Property group. He prepares and prosecutes U.S., foreign, and international patent applications, prepares non-infringement and invalidity opinions, and performs patentability, due diligence, and patent landscape analyses.
Mike feels at home within a wide range of technologies, as evidenced by his ten years of designing and testing a variety of electro-mechanical, control, and data display systems to support spaceflight. He also assists clients in pre-litigation enforcement of patent rights by performing initial infringement analyses, providing tailored patent enforcement strategies, preparing cease and desist letters, and negotiating settlement agreements.
