Michael Carlin is an experienced litigator with both trial and appellate experience. His practice focuses on management side employment litigation and counseling, including discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour and breach of contract claims. He regularly represents large national and multinational companies.
Michael also has experience in complex class action and private attorney general actions. He has obtained summary judgments in state and federal courts on behalf of employers in high-stakes employment litigation. Michael has also briefed and argued appeals and writs in the California and Ninth Circuit courts of appeal.
In addition, Michael performs employee investigations and internal wage and hour audits on behalf of employers to help management identify and mitigate risk.
