Since 1984 Mark Dosker has represented clients in litigation, international arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution to solve complex disputes. He often represents clients in class actions in litigation, class arbitrations and international matters. He is a member of the firm’s Global Litigation Practice.
Mark has successfully handled a wide range of cases involving corporate and financial transactions and practices, consumer products, banking law, wage and hour law, intellectual property, technology, product liability, insurance coverage, tax and other business issues.
At Harvard Law School, where he received his Juris Doctor degree, Mark was a winner of the Final Round of the Ames Moot Court Competition. He also holds a diploma as a graduate of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.
Mark has made presentations at business and professional conferences and taught seminars on international arbitration and other topics in the United States, China, Japan, Hong Kong, Mexico and Australia. He is the president and a member of the Board of Directors of the California-Asia Business Council, and is active in various civic organizations. He is a member of various bar and professional associations.
Mark is rated as AV Preeminent (Judicial Edition) by Martindale Hubbell. He has been named as one of the World’s Leading Experts in Commercial Arbitration (Euromoney Legal Media). Mark has been selected as a Super Lawyer, the top five percent of lawyers in Northern California, in the area of class actions, complex litigation and alternative dispute resolution (Law and Politics/San Francisco Magazine).
In addition to Mark’s experience as an attorney and counselor, he has served as an arbitrator in numerous international arbitrations, on three-member panels (both as chair and co-arbitrator), and as sole arbitrator and as emergency arbitrator.
