Lyndsey M. Wajert is an Associate in the Chicago office of Vedder Price and a member of the firm’s Litigation group.
Ms. Wajert focuses her practice on assisting media and entertainment clients with litigation and corporate matters, including researching, drafting and editing legal memoranda and filings and dispositive motions. In addition, Ms. Wajert is experienced in arguing motions in state and federal court, revising contracts and terms of service for corporate clients and managing document reviews.
Prior to joining Vedder Price, Ms. Wajert managed Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) cases and other First Amendment litigation. Ms. Wajert is experienced in drafting litigation findings, including motions to dismiss and anti-SLAPP motions. She has written amicus briefs, assisted with prepublication review for journalists, conducted legal research and published a weekly press freedom newsletter on media law, privacy and technology.
Ms. Wajert received her law degree from Boston University School of Law and graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. from George Washington University. In addition, Ms. Wajert serves as the Social Media Chair for the ABA Forum on Communications Law.
