Kyle O'Brien

Professional Biography

Kyle O'Brien is an associate in the firm’s Kansas City office. Previously, Kyle clerked for four federal judges (two district & two magistrate) in the United States District Court for the District of Kansas. He began clerking for Judge Carlos Murguia. Next, he briefly clerked for Judge Julie A. Robinson. He rounded out his time at the Court clerking for Magistrate Judges Gerald L. Rushfelt and David J. Waxse. For each judge, Kyle helped manage a large docket covering a wide range of legal matters.

Kyle is a graduate of the University of Kansas School of Law, where he served on the Editorial Board for the Kansas Journal of Law and Public Policy. He also holds a B.A. in Film & Media Studies from the University of Kansas.
