Kristina is passionate about helping employers reduce workplace complaints, manage legal risk, and navigate litigation. She regularly advises clients on daily workplace concerns, compliance issues, and governing laws and regulations (including Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FLSA, and FMLA). Kristina also conducts internal workplace investigations, assists human resources personnel in developing policies and procedures, drafts employee handbooks, provides employee training, and educates in-house counsel and executive leadership on emerging areas of litigation.
Kristina is committed to creating innovative and cost-effective litigation strategies. Kristina has experience litigating claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, failure to accommodate, and violations of restrictive covenants. She has also defended multiple class and collective actions involving alleged violations of federal and state wage and hour laws. Kristina routinely negotiates settlement agreements, as well as severance, confidentiality, non-competition, and other contractual agreements on behalf of employers. Additionally, Kristina represents clients in administrative proceedings and counsels clients through investigations by regulatory agencies.
Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Kristina practiced at a firm in Denver, Colorado, where she gained experience at every stage of litigation, including trial in state and federal courts.
