Krista McDonald focuses her practice on commercial litigation matters. Krista has represented or advised clients in numerous cases in federal and state courts involving a broad range of matters, including business torts, breach of contract actions, unfair competition, class actions, constitutional law, Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), and health care fraud. Recently, Krista argued before the Seventh Circuit on behalf of a client appealing the district court’s sentencing determination resulting from wire and mail fraud convictions.
While in law school, Krista was managing senior editor of the Notre Dame Law Review and an oralist for the Moot Court Appellate Board. She also served as a teaching assistant and coach for Notre Dame’s undergraduate Mock Trial Program. Krista received the Edward F. Barrett award for excellence in trial advocacy at Notre Dame Law School and recently received an award for Excellence in Pro Bono Service from the Northern District of Illinois.
