Julie H. McConnell

Professional Biography

Julie H. McConnell represents employers and public accommodations in complex litigation before federal, state and local agencies, courts and courts of appeals. Julie’s specific experience includes disputes involving Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, public accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act and state employment and accessibility statutes.

 

Julie also counsels employers on a wide range of employment and workplace issues, such as personnel policies and practices, employment contracts, employee separations and terminations and internal complaints and investigations.

Julie maintains an active pro bono practice, including representing clients who are seeking asylum and other immigration-related benefits in the United States.

While in law school, Julie was the managing editor of the American University Law Review.
