Professional Biography

Julia is a litigator who focuses her practice on complex civil litigation. She has experience conducting legal research and preparing legal memoranda and briefs.

Prior to joining Mintz, Julia interned at the Massachusetts Appeals Court for Associate Justice Vickie L. Henry, and at the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts. During her tenure, she researched and drafted legal memoranda on issues involving suppression of evidence, addressing racism within the judicial system, and the Federal Kidnapping Act. In addition, Julia was a student attorney for the Family Advocacy Clinic at Suffolk Law School, where she assisted survivors of domestic violence in family court proceedings under the supervision of senior attorneys.

While earning her JD, Julia worked at Mintz as a Summer Litigation Associate in 2021, researching and contributing to The Law of Class Action: Fifty-State Survey 2022. She also supported the pro bono team by interviewing clients seeking asylum. In law school, Julia served as vice president of the Suffolk Journal of Trial & Appellate Advocacy. She also served as president of the Black Law Students Association and the Women of Color Law Student Association.
