Joseph S. Harper is an associate with Foley & Lardner LLP. He is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Securities Enforcement & Litigation, and Bankruptcy & Business Reorganization Practices. Joseph has experience in complex commercial litigation, corporate bankruptcy counselling and litigation, trust and probate litigation, veterans law, tax law, and general commercial dispute resolution.
During law school, Joseph was a summer associate with Foley, and worked for the Abrams Environmental Law Clinic at the University of Chicago Law School. Prior to attending law school, he pursued a Ph.D. in analytic philosophy at New York University, where he also designed and taught undergraduate philosophy courses, and brought philosophy into high school classrooms in Brooklyn through the Star Academy outreach program.
