Joseph Brazauskas assists clients with navigating complex federal legislative and regulatory processes with a focus on energy, environment and natural resources. Joseph advocates for clients before Congress and the Executive Branch and provides counsel for clients in matters involving Congressional investigations.
Prior to joining Bracewell, Joseph served for nearly a decade in the U.S. House of Representatives as a Counsel on the House Oversight and Reform Committee and the House Science, Space, and Technology Committee. He also served as Associate Administrator for the Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Relations and as an Associate Deputy General Counsel at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). As EPA’s chief liaison with Congress and the nation's 50 state governors and legislators, Joseph also served as the chief lobbyist for EPA before Senate and House Congressional Committees.
