Jessica Childress is an associate in the Labor & Employment Law Department. She represents employers in all aspects of employment litigation and counseling.
Jessica’s litigation practice includes whistleblower, wrongful discharge, discrimination, retaliation, non-compete, securities, and trade secret cases. She also advises clients on executive employment agreements, employment handbooks and policies, and employment-related corporate transactions.
Before joining Proskauer, Jessica worked for the United States Department of Justice as an assistant general counsel for the Bureau of Prisons, where she defended the DOJ in employment and labor litigations before the EEOC, the Federal Labor Relations Authority, and the Merit Systems Protection Board. Previously, she clerked for the Honorable Alexander Williams, Jr. in the U.S. District Court of Maryland and served as an associate at Morrison & Foerster LLP. While attending the University of Virginia School of Law, Jessica was an intern with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia.
