James is an associate in the Jacksonville, Florida, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. His practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including litigation advice and preventive counseling.
Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, James spent more than two years as a judicial law clerk with the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. After working on a variety of criminal and civil cases, it was analyzing the complex and nuanced issues posed by federal employment claims, in addition to his passion for working with people, that led to him focusing his practice on labor and employment law.
While in law school, James served as the executive acquisitions editor for the University of Florida Journal of Law & Public Policy. This, coupled with his clerkship experience, helped him develop valuable skills as a writer, advocate, and counselor.
