Hamid Yunis advises clients on complex areas of transactional law (M&A, Investments, Private Equity, Major Projects and Corporate Finance) predominantly within the health industry. He has substantial experience in innovative structures for complex joint-ventures, public-private partnerships and funding arrangements. Hamid has a significant background in corporate, funds, major projects and infrastructure transactions both in a UK domestic and international context. His experience spans Europe, the Middle East, Asia (in particular, the sub-continent, the ASEAN region, China and Japan) and Africa. Hamid’s global client base includes health care providers, medical products manufacturers and organizations establishing “medical cities”, along with non-health oriented clients whom he advises on transactions involving infrastructure projects and project finance. Hamid also has a particular interest in advising Sovereign Wealth Funds on their investments and other transactions.

Hamid is the partner-in-charge of the Firm’s UK Health Care Practice. Hamid joined McDermott from a leading international law firm based in London where he spent over 14 years and was head of the firm’s Health Care Group.
