Genevieve Hubbard utilizes the knowledge and policy experience gained from working on Capitol Hill to advise clients on pertinent policy issues in several areas, including foreign affairs, immigration, transportation and infrastructure, local governments and higher education. Genevieve also works with clients on issues concerning government contracts, and has experience litigating government contracts cases and drafting bid protests.
While in law school, Genevieve was a member of the Re-Entry Clinic, where she worked with individuals struggling as a result of their contact with the criminal system. She also served as a staff member on the American University Business Law Review.
Immediately prior to joining the firm, Genevieve served in a variety of capacities in the office of Congressman Pete Sessions (R-TX), former Chairman of the House Rules Committee. In this role, she accumulated wide-ranging Capitol Hill experience and a practical understanding of congressional procedure and process.
Genevieve graduated from Baylor University in Texas, where she received a B.A. in international studies and political science, as well as a minor in Spanish. She received her J.D. from Washington College of Law at American University.
