Elisa Cardano Perez is an Associate in Vedder Price’s Washington, DC office and a member of the firm’s Investment Services group.
Ms. Cardano Perez focuses her practice on representing U.S.-registered investment companies and funds, including crypto funds, their boards of directors and investment advisers in regulatory compliance and governance matters under U.S. securities laws.
In her pro bono practice, Ms. Cardano Perez assists domestic violence victims with U-Visa petitions and is part of a collaborative effort assisting members of Afghanistan’s only all-female special operations force, which served alongside U.S. special operations, file for their U.S. asylum applications.
Ms. Cardano Perez received her law degree from The George Washington University Law School and her undergraduate degree from Northeastern University. While in law school, Ms. Cardano Perez served as a member of the Federal Communications Law Journal and authored a student note for the Journal. In addition, she was a member of the Latino Law Students Association.
Ms. Cardano Perez speaks Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.
