Dr. Stephan Rau is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP Rechtsanwälte Steuerberater LLP, based in its Munich office. He is a member of the German Corporate/M&A Practice and head of the Firm’s Health Law Practice Group in Europe. Stephan’s practice focuses on M&A transactions in the health and life science sector, healthcare regulation (including academic organizations) and related compliance.
In 2004, Stephan advised on the foundation of the first German corporate medical centre. Since then he has represented numerous investors, healthcare service providers, pharma and medtech companies as well as governmental entities in M&A transactions, outsourcing projects and licensing and reimbursement proceedings.
